On Facebook’s website you can sign up to receive text alerts or send notes and photos via MMS. Receiving those texts is free. However, for sending Facebook Texts and MMS standard browsing and text charges apply.
You can reply STOP to any of the text messages you receive that begin 32665 and you will be removed and so will not receive Facebook alerts. You can add yourself again by logging into Facebook on the web.
